A simple answer would be, if you can complile Apache, then most likely
you can compile PHP.
If I had access to an SGI, I could tell you. Hopefully they are
shipping with GCC now. (what is their stock at, 4 7/16?)
It really burns me in this day and age, vendors are still trying to
charge for their compilers. This just isn't the appropriate business
model any more.
