Hey there,
I have heard/read this in few places, the PHP manual being one i just bought
a new PHP book today
"Web Application Development with PHP4.0" I noted a feqw thigs as I was
skimming,
Java support can be compiled into PHP if you compile it as DSO and also run
a JVM
on the same server. This apaprantly gives the ability to call enterprise
Java components.
I havent tried this but i think it will be on the cards soon. Maybe some of
the Gurus at php.net
may want to comment on this since its a new and exciting feature of PHP4.
On another note this may add some steam to the PHP vs JSP debate that i have
seen pop up on this list
occasionally
:)
Cheers
Steven

Subject: [PHP] PHP & JAVA
I need to know if it is posible to use a java object with php, I just need
to call some methods of the object from a php page. As I am a newbie I would
also appreciate any guide to implement this call to a java object.
Thanks
