Hi,
Don't quite follow what you are saying here...
AFAIK, on PHP (at least 4.0.1 and below), register_globals directive merely
maps EGPCS variables into the global namespace (i.e. if I do
"http://quark/http_demo?object=17",
$GLOBALS['object'] will be set to 17).
Am I mistaken in this?
My issue is that when doing an HTTP GET, isset($GLOBALS['HTTP_POST_VARS'])
is TRUE on PHP 4.0.3pl1, (it is assigned to an empty array). Previously
(4.0.1pl2 and below), isset($GLOBALS['HTTP_POST_VARS']) was FALSE. Given
that $GLOBALS['HTTP_GET_VARS'] contains the correct data in both cases, I
*think* my INI settings are correct for EGPCS variable handling... and they
haven't changed between the two versions of PHP.
Thanks,
Chris.

So ... you have trun off register_globas directive in php.ini
That's that problem ... probably ;-)
