Hi Christian,
Let's say that my knowledge for C and programming in general is helping me
alot!.
Maybe it's not as strict as for variables, but, hey.. it's all very good
still.
for instance, for loops,
for (c=0;;c++)
{
}
the same in PHP, but instead of c, it's $c and $c++; So you see, it's very
like.
But that's my opinion. Using pointers in PHP?? that's another story,
haven't
gotten that far, and I'm not sure you really need it in the same extent as C
does.
When it comes to forms and PHP. It's very simple.
<form action="formhandler.php" method="post">
<input name="var1" type="text" length=40>
..
..
</form>
and then in the formhandler.php you have following,
<?php
echo "The value of the variable in the form is, $var1";
?>
As simple as that. But there's plenty more to it. You can have the code on
the same
page as the PHP coder, and so forth. Maybe you want to download the manual
on ,
http://php.net
Thank you.
