I did some changes and I have a feeling that I'm pretty close to the solution, but I still don't have Java within PHP. > Davor, > > Your problem are the following php.ini lines: > > java.library=/opt/web/php_stuff/lib/libphp_java.so > java.library.path=/opt/web/php_stuff/lib > > These need to point to your jdk's libjvm.so or libjava.so > (as appropriate for your JDK) and the directories that > contain the other JDK load libraries (e.g. /opt/java/jdk/ > jre/bin:/opt/java/jdk/jre/bin/classic). Please review the > php distribution's ext/java/readme carefully. This is how my php.ini looks now: [Java] ;java.class.path = .\php_java.jar ;java.home = c:\jdk ;java.library = c:\jdk\jre\bin\hotspot\jvm.dll ;java.library.path = .\ java.library.path=/opt/java/jdk/jre/bin:/opt/java/jdk/jre/bin/classic java.home=/opt/java/jdk java.class.path=/opt/web/php_stuff/lib/php_java.jar:/opt/java/jdk/lib/tools.jar:/opt/java/jdk/jre/lib/rt.jar java.library=/opt/java/jdk/jre/bin/libjava.so extension_dir=/opt/web/php_stuff/lib extension=libphp_java.so and now I don't have 'Cannot locate CreateJavaVM' or 'libXYZ.os cannot be found' but the file with php/java functions cannot be opened (connection time out). Logs are not saying anything. It looks like PHP is trying to initialize JVM, but it takes too much time. My configuration: linux kernel 2.2.16, apache 1.3.12, php 4.0.3pl1, glibc 2.1.3, IBM JDK 1.3 Thanks. -- Besplatno kopiranje Linux distribucija i softwarea [Novi Mandrake, RedHat, Debian, ...] http://www.inet.hr/~dcengija/
