RE: [PHP] Bulletin Boards with PHP

I haven't done any actual benchmarking, but there is a noticeable speed/load difference. I've been developing the PERL version for about 4 years with some of my users around for just as long. As soon as I put the PHP version online I was getting comments about how much quicker it is. With an average of 30 people online at the same time I see about a 25-30% drop in server load under the PHP version as well.
