Using trans-sid with wml pages

I've got a question concerning PHP and .wml pages.
When using trans-sid PHP automaticly adds '&session'
to the link. But on wml it has to be '&session'.
Is it possible to change that?
If not, is it possible to switch between using
trans-sid and not using it without editing php.ini?
