Just set it to
include_path = "./:/my/path:/my_path/here";
etc etc.
That'll work for Unix but I don't know about NT as I never use NT..

Subject: [PHP] Setting include path to same directory as .php file.?
Quick question. If I leave the include path empty in the php.ini file, php
uses the same directory as what the php file it parses is in. However, as
soon as I add a directory it only uses that as the include path and quits
checking the local directory. So my question is how do have php check both
the local directory the php file is in and other defined directories? I
need solutions for UNIX and any variations that might be needed under NT.
Thanks in advance for the suggestions.
