Hi Michael - Q&D solution:

      if(!ereg("^.+@.+\\..+$", $emailAddress)) {
          //
          // $emailAddress is invalid
          //
      }

It will pass some weird cases though, e.g., '@@@.@' Hope this helps, Mikah
