*BIG* problem here - probably should go to bugs.php.net as well,
but this is probably the largest list...
RH6.2 system.
Apache 1.3.12
PHP4.02 - as DSO.
every page we use session_start()
sess_239487923874320 files are in /tmp
Without warning, a sess_ file will be cleared out - the
file is still there, but it's empty. This is not a timing issue
(or shouldn't be) as the lifetime of the sessions is 3900 seconds.
*some* sess_ files belong to root/root, and some to
nobody/nobody. Apache is running as nobody/nobody, so
that makes sense.
Two issues -
What's causing the sess_ file to be cleared out *seemingly* at random?
What's causing the file ownerships to change on the sess_ files?
Help!
