It fits to the hardware (SPARCserver 1000E) and does it's job (besides, of course, readdir :-)). The latest kernel patch for 2.4 was released Jun/23/00. The latest patch was released in the end of September 2000. You enter ls -l and see your files. You use readdir and see nothing. Many PHP applications, which use readdir, don't fully run. Isn't it frustrating? Is this a reason for installing higher Solaris on this box? Just to clarify the OS is still supported by Sun.
