to all Gurus -> I need some HELP

Sorry for this dramatically intro :) I need some help for compiling a C written module with the ZendAPI. I tried to compile the sample source within the api doc but it failed while generating the makefile: checking BOOK: whether to enable the first module... yes : command not found : command not found ./configure: line 44984: syntax error: unexpected end of file Is there nobody who has successfully compiled a module? I need it, cause the PHP script needs more than 10 seconds to execute it. So there is only one solution -> write it C. I am happy about everykind of help thanks... Thomas
