If you have any significant programming experience/ability, I'd suggest
you find a few good online tutorials (devshed and webmonkey both have
good ones) and then get a copy of the PHP docs (they're amazingly
useful). You can learn a lot from these sources (and free yourself from
risking $40-50 on a crappy book).
