HI
I'm trying to detect if the browser that comes to the site supports cookies
by planting one,
reloading the page and checking if the cookie was set. While this works
great with NN, The
same page doesn't do the trick with IE.
The code looks like this :
//Checking for Cookie Support
If(!IsSet($CookieTest)) {
If($CookieSecondRun == 1) {
echo"Your browser does not support cookies";
exit();
}Else {
SetCookie("CookieTest", 1, 0, "/", "$cookiedomain");
echo"<meta http-equiv=refresh content=\"0;
URL=test.php3?CookieSecondRun=1\">";
exit();
}
}
IE gets here even when cookies are disabled and this can't be unless I'm
missing something :)
