Situation:
Apache/1.3.12 (Unix) (SuSE/Linux) PHP/4.0.3pl1 mod_ssl/2.4.7 OpenSSL/0.9.4
running on SuSE 6.3 with patches from 6.4 (needed to make PHP 4 load at
all). Apache loads without errors, but doesn't show mod_php4.c when started
with -l option. A test script, called test.php with copies named test.php3,
test.php4 and test.phtml are in a web server VirtualHost. AddTypes and stuff
should be correct (and no, not [only] inside the VirtualHost statement).
Ok... so anyone got any ideas why the hell it won't work? Every php file
(.php, .php4 and .phtml) with the x-httpd-php or x-httpd-php4 type is
shown as unknown file type, or so it seems, at least it's not parsed.
Netscape wants to download the file. A .php3 file (with x-httpd-php3 type)
is shown as text/plain (the default encoding in this config).
What can it be?
$ cat test.php
<html><body><p>dumdidum</p>
<?php
phpinfo();
?>
</body></html>
