All I can say is I uninstalled PHP 4.0.3 because of several different
problem with PostGres, and reinstalled PHP 4.0.1 and everything is fine.
What I would say to you is if it works with 4.0.1 and there is no real
reason to use 4.0.3, then use 4.0.1. I know I will be wiped and beaten by
the others for saying that but for me, after days of banging my head with
4.0.3 and asking why PostGres was not working with 4.0.3 and getting no
answers, 4.0.1 was the answer.
