Hi, I've been using PHP4 with Apache for a little while now, but I'm interested in using the AOLServer module because the server seems to make much more efficient use of resources. I have built the AOLServer module with PHP4-RC2 and gcc 2.95.2 using the --with-aolserver-src=srcdir and --with-aolserver=bindir configure flags. "make install" produces libphp4.so in my AOLServer bin directory. According to the directions provided with the PHP source release, I have made the following additions to my nsd.tcl configuration file: ns_section "ns/server/${servername}/module/php4" ns_param "ParserName" "php4" ns_param map "/*.php" ns_param "php4" ${bindir}/libphp4.so However, when I start the server, I receive this error: [21/May/2000:17:44:48][29799.1][-main-] Notice: loading: /usr/home/brian/tmp/aol3.install/bin/libphp4.so [21/May/2000:17:44:49][29799.1][-main-] Warning: could not load /usr/home/brian/tmp/aol3.install/bin/libphp4.so: ld.so.1: ./nsd: fatal: relocation error: file /usr/home/brian/tmp/aol3.install/bin/libphp4.so: symbol __pure_virtual: referenced symbol not found [21/May/2000:17:44:49][29799.1][-main-] Fatal: could not load: /usr/home/brian/tmp/aol3.install/bin/libphp4.so I'm using Solaris 7, any help is appreciated. Thanks, -Brian
