Yes - done that - but still can't find the address of the wrongly called
page. the $REQUEST_URI has the address of my error.php (as pointed to by the
directive in .htaccess) in it if I use the FQDN in it. If I remove the
http://.... from the froont of the directive then apache gives out the std
404 error message - I'm confused :-)
