Just had a quick play with this this afternoon.
Similar to the optimizer, it seemed to actually slow down large
./ab benchmark tests. I wasn't doing terribly complex PHP code,
but it seems that the compilation time for small scripts is still faster than
the 'compile/store in cache/check cache on every request'.
If I can get it to work with 4.0.2 I'll try it on a more complex PHP
app in the next couple days.
Anyone else tried this? Any other results to compare ours against?
Anyone get a 300% increase in performance? ;)
