I would recommend doing the manual install with the zipped version of PHP pre-compiled, so you can take advantage of the server module/SAPI versions of PHP, instead of the CGI version.

I was trying to install php-4.0.3 onto a Windows2000 server using the php-4.0.3p|1-installer. It gets through what seems like most of the process asking me what type of Web Server I'm using, mail host configuration... then at the very end complains of a missing file "MSCOMCTL.OCX". Any suggestions on where I could find some more information on installing on Windows2000 ? I've been able to install PHP3x on Linux and WindowsNT no problems.
