Hi Guys,
I have a big site that I am currently working on. It has a front page with
links in to the main content. The main content is held in frames. So every
time there was a new area ie 'about' I had to call an about_frameset.html
and then load up about_content.html inside of this. So I thought why don't I
right one frameset.php and call up the *_content.html using $whichPage
variable which I send to the browser with link on the first page ie. <a
href="frameset.php?whichPage=about">about</a>
I can get this working and everything is fine, only one frameset file
instead of 12. Woohooo, but there is a problem. Just say I enter the site in
the links page, it loads up links but then say I click on 'about'. It will
load up about in the content frame of the links_frameset.html. That is all
cool, but then I press F5 to refresh and it will re-load the links content
page instead of the about contents page.
This is not what I want. Has anybody else had the same problem. Any work
arounds? Ideas?
Thanks
scott.
