You could pass the whichPage variable to the main script, and then pass it
down to the inner frame -- but then your other frame will be reloading, so
if you're doing this to "save" time on the link frame, there went that idea.
The problem is that the URL you are reloading points to the main page.
You can reload an individual frame using right-click or clicking somewhere
in the body of the frame and then selecting "reload frame" from some menu
somewhere.
This pretty much is one of the reasons why frames suck.
