Hi i'm new on the list and i'm trying to set up php 4.0.2 on a Debian

I followed all the instruccion on the manual but when i try to load a
.php or .html with php code in netscape i don't see nothing
I followed this but nothing happen when i load a test page
cd apache_1.3.x
6. ./configure --prefix=/www
7. cd ../php-x.x.x
8. ./configure --with-mysql --with-apache=../apache_1.3.x
--enable-track-vars
9. make
10. make install
11. cd ../apache_1.3.x
for PHP 4: ./configure --activate-module=src/modules/php4/libphp4.a
13. make
14. make install
15. cd ../php-x.x.x
for PHP 4: cp php.ini-dist /usr/local/lib/php.ini
17. Edit your httpd.conf or srm.conf file and add:
For PHP 4: AddType application/x-httpd-php .php
I didn't get an error message during compiling, seems like all was fine.
Anyone can help me?
