Funny thing about these "Try the manual" oppinions... IMHO the PHP manual is
a rather good reference... if you know where to look.
I consider myself a seasoned programmer, although new to PHP. I find that
the manual is lacking in how the function libraries are grouped. This
particluar question was also a time-killer for me to find out. I didn't
actually, I asked someone else. :-)
A more conceptual grouping would be appreciated. But then again, maybe that
is what the books are for... ;-)
