As I was just beginig to really enjoy learning PHP, and a HUGE ASP (already built) project landed on my lap... so I had no choice but to let PHP asside and learn M$'s "scripting language"...
while I was trying to do some session stuff I realized it's much simpler than in PHP... it doesn't have any session_start() or anything... and the session doesn't need to be "propagated"... I can browse around pages that doesn't even mention sessions, I can even leave the site, and when I'm back, the session is still there...
how does this work? is this possible with PHP session handling, or ASP really does have this advantage (or, who knows, disadvantage)???
p.s: hope this is not stupid, since I don't REALLY know Sessions in PHP nor in ASP...
