Not to be condesending, but this is a simple and basic function of any SQL
syntax. Make the effort to actually try to learn it yourself. This is
clearly documented in the MySQL docs, as well as hundreds of tutorials that
get you started with mysql. I'll let ya off the hook this time.
select * from table1, table2, table3, table4, table5 where name='$keyword';
if you're trying to do a keyword search it needs to be like this:
select * from table1, table2, table3, table4, table5 where name like
%'$keyword'%;
