Well, mine works now, but I can't offer you a solution... I have no
idea what I did to it(didn't look like I did anything at all), and all the
sudden it started working.. just keep messing with it... also, try running
httpd -l and see if mod_php4.c is there(if you didn't compile it as a DSO)...
