Basically, IE (and probably any other browser) who natively support
multiple HTTP sessions are sharing information such as cookies among them.
So, the new IE session also sends the same cookie to your server and this
has many advantages (as well as disadvantages). For example, if you do a
right click and say "open link in new window", things won't work properly
without this feature.

I wonder if there is a setting on IE to do this. You will have to check
internet options.
