Neither can I. :^| But as far as I understand, it *is* the newly
compiled version. And yes, I did a `make clean'.
The reason I think it's the new version is that the phpinfo() function
reports the ./configure command line correctly (and I added an option
--with-jpeg-dir only for the last compilation).
What files should I remove to ensure that no stale files are left
around (given --prefix=/usr/local)? Or how else can I be sure?
