Could you not setup a separate NT box to handle this? install the Acrobat PDF printer program, then script Word to open the file and print to PDF, then grab the PDF file and do what you want with it. It's situations like this where I wish Adobe supported Linux more - you can't get Acrobat 4 for any Unix variant apparently, and we needed it some months ago... :(What about scripting Word to print to a Postscript file, then using something like Ghostscript to convert that to PDF? There are quite a few other PDF creators out there - www.pdfzone.com has some helpful info. Angus.
