Nope. Your web server used to process files (possibly just .shtml) looking for those tags. When you
install PHP, you're in effect say "Let php.exe handle all of the processing for
*.php".
The fastest way to do this is to change <!-- #include file="myfile" --> to <?
require("myfile") ?>
in your PHP pages.
