This looks like you're trying to use the session handler I wrote
(http://gateway.digitaria.com/~chris/php/mysql_session_handler/). That line isn't going to set
the
configuration but was just intended to bomb out immediately if that variable wasn't set in an
attempt to avoid errors happening later in your code. If you are using my code, make sure that you
call mysql_connect/mysql_select_db with the specific details of your MySQL installation and that
session.save_path is set to the name of the table.
