These functions seem to be completely undocumented. They seem to be
part of ZEND. I found a reference to them in the zend changelog but
NOWHERE else. Are there any gotchas or issues with them? Any more info
or other related functions? Are there other undocumented zend functions
floating around? What will it take to get these functions added to the
documentation. I have long wanted the functionality provided by these
functions. So I am very interested in learning more about how to use
them.
