includes

I am looking for a simple way to include a file and not have it parsed. But I also do no want to strip out the html and php. Is there a way to do a nice and simple include and set parsing to false? Right now I use a fopen and fgets to read from the file. include() will parse it and execute it. All I want to do is include it raw... any ideas?
