On the web page where the $summary is displayed (Which is a subset of
$blurb) there exists the posiblitliy that end tags would be missing.
If I continue the example I gave below the summary of the line:
$blurb = <B>Some text that breaks</B> may also break HTML formatting.
becomes:
$summary = <B>Some text that ...
and the $summary displayed now is missing a close tag for the <B> element.
