The COM interface in Windows allows us to access the ActiveX dll's that we
have developed in a way similar to how we do it in ASP. That is, if we
could get it to work. the com_load attempt gives us back an undefined
function error. The manual left me in ??? mode as that was the description
of each of the com functions.

Linux/PHP/DCOM?
Try it and see, I guess... First I've heard of it.
I have this vague idea that the PHP/COM stuff is not used a whole lot, but
no real data...
I'm curious: What exactly is in a COM/DCOM that isn't already in PHP or
something PHP interfaces with?... :-)
