Hi
I'm still having trouble reading iptcinfo from images using iptcparse();
Has anyone ever used the (undocumented) iptcembed() function ?
Has anyone ever documented it ? :-) Be pleased to know.
The same behaviour appeared for different files, file formats, servers and phpversions.
Where am I going wrong ?
The manual examples this:
==================
$size = GetImageSize("iptc.jpg",&$info);
$iptc = iptcparse($info["APP13"]);
var_dump($iptc);
==================
What I get in return is
- after GetImageSize("blah",&$info)
$info["APP13"] is string(12726) "Photoshop 3.0.ÿÙþâ..ó§ÿÙþâ ...
(this should, I think, have been an array, not a string)
- after $test = iptcparse($info["APP13"])
$test is bool(false)
(this should, I think, have been an IPTC block, which is, I think, some complex array)
thanks upfront
