I think that should be something like:
$sysinfo = posix_uname();
echo 'Something : ' . $sysinfo['sysname'];
echo 'other thing : ' . $sysinfo['release'];
etc...

If you look at source of the resulting page you'd see the line breaks.
The new line means nothing to the browser. Use <BR> or <BR>\n
(to keep the resulting source readable).
Something like :
echo "text<BR>\n";
