SID is a macro, not a variable, if you are to pass the SID (session
identifier) you can use the macro SID (which contains
SESSIONVARNAME=session_id())
like this:
<a href='http://localhost/test.php?<?=SID?>'>
And if the browser has cookies enabled, the SID macro will be empty, and
the session id will get passed via the cookie.
