Bummer, that didn't work... This is what it looks like when forcing the
session id before session_start:
Posted Variable (echo $PHPSESSID): 58947d2a14aae4cf349afefd4c72a48c
session started (echo session_id()): 3d5e31cadc5f133a29796722ddd52402
Variable Registered in session: 3d5e31cadc5f133a29796722ddd52402
No affect whatsoever session_start still creates a new session ID.
