Hello,
I would like to get the community's opinion on image manipulation tools.
I am needing to dynamically manipulate an image (I created through Photoshop -- therefore I can
change it to any format -- JPEG, PNG, or GIF). I basically need to overlay text on the graphic.
After search the archives, I see two predominent areas -- GD and ImageMagick.
Pros, Cons, additions?
Also, what about the use of GIFs, I still see a lot of tutorials using GIFs, but am not clear on the
legal issues around them. (I would like to use them as this support is already compiled into my
configuration, but only if it is legal).
TIA,
Kevin
