quick question for you guys -- i am trying to set up a news database server for a project i am working on. what the client wants to be able to do is insert news articles into a web-based interface, assign it a URL, add it to the front page (and remove it if it is more than XX days old). the programming aspect is not a problem at all, but rather the concept of stuffing an entire news article into a database column -- is this a good one (is this how professional businesses handle it), or is it better if the news article is written to a flat out text file and parsed through a php script on server execution? thanks in advance, chris ______________________________________ s a n o g r a p h i c s d o t c o m graphics with an ultimately creative touch
