I found it interesting that on 7/11/00 2:27 PM Greg Donald said:

Dang, that's why nobody responds!!!
This is very strange. I have tried this same script
(http://216.235.251.8/login.phtml) on these browsers:
Mac Netscape 4.7.2
Mac IE 5.5
PC Netscape 4.7.2
PC IE 5.01 SP1
I get the same results. But.. wait, I did make a change to have the
PHPSESSID in the action of the script so I'll test again.
Mac Netscape 4.7.2, same results, new session each post, cookie set and SID
also populated.
Mac IE 5.5, first post, session is created, second post new session created
and SID populated, third and each subsequent post same session used and no
SID macro created, as it should. But I cannot have it work on the third post
only!
PC Netscape 4.7.2 same results as Mac IE 5.5
PC IE 5.01 sp1 same results as Mac IE 5.5
So, it appears to be doing some good work but Why is it not keeping the
session consistently from the first post? I have to post three times before
the session actually works.
