Help please. I have a problem configuring PHP to work with both tomcat and
apache so that I can make use of phpsrvlt extension.
I am able to run the servlet extension under tomcat but this becomes a
problem when I try to integrate with apache. I realised that tomcat.conf has
the following two lines:
AddType text/jsp .php
AddHandler net.php.servlet .php
These two line seems to conflict with the following in httpd.conf
AddType application/x-httpd-php4 .php3 .php
Action application/x-httpd-php4 "/php4/php.exe"
This means that I can't use the PHP servlet extension under apache as it
will conflict with the normal PHP execution in apache. This restricts me on
how I use the PHP servlet extension. Basically I would like tomcat to handle
the servlet bit but leave all other PHP execution to apache.
I will be very grateful for any assistance. Thanks in advance.
