remote_user? i cant see remote_user in my phpinfo, ( i use php4.0.1 ) but i found remote_address At 12:27 14/07/00 -0400, you wrote:
REMOTE_USER shows up when I use phpinfo(); But I can't get it to work in my pages. Shouldn't <? echo $REMOTE_USER; ?> be enough? I don't get any errors. It just doesn't echo anything (like it's blank) Should I be using some other function for HTTP vars? (apache 1.3.12, php 4.0)
