Great link! Thanks. However I couldn't find any info on passing session variables when I use the header("Location: url") function. Is I use the header() function do session vars get passed along? Jc

But the problem I have is, after validating the login how can I make PHP open up a new page? Right now users click a button and that simply causes the current page to validate the login using the data the user has supplied in text fields and if successful display a message. But what I would like is if the login is successful have another page be loaded. AND most importantly start a sessions and have the user ID and password passed along. (but I don't want this in the URL of course). But I can't figure out how to make PHP get the browser to load up another page after a successful login. Is my question unclear enough? ^_^ Jc _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp -- PHP General Mailing List (http://www.php.net/) To unsubscribe, e-mail: php-general-unsubscribe@lists.php.net For additional commands, e-mail: php-general-help@lists.php.net To contact the list administrators, e-mail: php-list-admin@lists.php.net
