Hi,
If you are going back to the "entry" page, there is no SID in the URL
query string, and so of course a new session would be generated. That's
where cookies are better.
You may be able to get around this by having the first page (i.e., when
the SID is not set in HTTP_GET_VARS) redirect itself to
"header(Location: $PHP_SELF?SID)".
