A problem in APache with PHP4 ! Please help .

I am using Redhat 7.1. The apache is configurated during the installation. I have no change on it . However, I need to use PHP4 with Mysql , So , I compile the newest Mysql tar ball . It success and can be used by using mysqladmin or those tools. Also , I compile again the PHP4 with the following options. ./configure --prefix=/usr --with-config-file-path=/etc --disable-debug --enable-safe-mode --enable-pic --enable-shared --enable-inline-optimization --with-apxs=/usr/sbin/apxs --with-exec-dir=/usr/bin --with-regex=system --with-gettext --with-gd --with-jpeg-dir=/usr --with-png --with-zlib --with-db2 --with-db3 --with-gdbm --enable-debugger --enable-sysvshm --enable-track-vars --enable-yp --enable-ftp --enable-wddx --with-mysql=/usr/local --without-oracle --without-oci8 --with-xml --enable-versioning --with-system-regex Then , my everytime restart the /etc/rc.d/init.d/httpd restart, however, I can see a error as following located in /var/log/httpd/error_log PHP Warning: Function registration failed - duplicate name - mysql_dbname in Unknown on line 0 I haven't test it out isn't it really get fail if I am using the PHP with Mysql . But I wanna to fix it . Can anyone give me some advice or helps ? Thanks . It 's in urgent . Jimmy Lam
