I don't think that was what he meant (but hopefully he can correct me if I'm
wrong). I was under the impression that what he was trying to do was create
an icon on a webpage (similar to an icon on a desktop) that the user could
simply click to launch Word. If that is what he's trying to do then I have
something he could try. Put a blank Word template out on the network and
link to that, as opposed to the .exe file of Word. That way (if you are
using IE like Andy mentioned) it will load Word inside the browser. You can
set the target=_blank so that it loads in a new window and keeps the
intranet page open. Any other ideas from anyone?
