Hi;
I've installed SuSE on a server I'm building. I cd to the cdrom where I've got the latest stable release of php. I issue the following command:
# gzip -cd php-4.0.1pl2.tar.gz | tar xvf -
and all sorts of comments scroll down my screen. When they're done, what's visible reads the same comment:
Cannot open: No such file or directory
What do I need to do here? Create a file called php? Which partition should it be placed in? How would I point to it?
